Big Houses, Honest Timing
A 4,000 square foot house is not a 2,000 square foot house with more rooms. It is more stairs, more bathrooms, more glass and a lot more floor. Some companies quote a flat two hours and then hurry. New Builds Shed More Than You Expect
People assume a house three years old must be clean. New homes keep giving off fine drywall and construction grit for a long time, and it hides on top of door casings, inside vents, behind the tall baseboards builders love, and along the tracks of big sliding doors. Then the lot next door gets scraped and it starts again. We go after those places on purpose rather than just wiping what you can see at eye level. If you have moved in recently, a deep first clean makes everything after it easier.
Floors a Baby Can Crawl On
Half the young families we clean for in Prosper have a little one on the move. Babies crawl, then they put their hands in their mouths, so the floor is not just a floor. How long does a house in Whitley Place or Windsong Ranch take?
It depends on the square footage and how many people and pets live there, but Prosper homes are large and we plan for that. A first clean takes the longest because we are catching up on the places no one gets to. After that, a regular visit is quicker and more predictable. Call Susy on 916-680-1458 with your bedroom and bathroom count and you will get a real answer, not a guess.
Can you clean the upstairs game room and media room too, or is that extra?
They are rooms like any other, so they are included in what we agree. Prosper houses often have a second floor that barely gets used until the weekend, which is exactly why dust settles up there. We would rather clean it on a schedule than let it turn into a big job later. If you want a room left alone, just say so and we will skip it.
We are still finishing a build. Do you do post-construction cleans?
We do the household side of it: the fine dust on ledges, inside cabinets and drawers, window tracks, vents and floors, so the house is fit to live in. We are not a construction crew and we do not haul debris or scrub paint off brick. Tell Susy what stage you are at and she will be straight with you about whether we are the right fit.
