Old Dallas houses hold dust in places new ones don't
In the M Streets and Lakewood, the houses are close to a hundred years old. Dust settles in the gaps between floorboards, along picture rails, on top of door casings, and inside window tracks that were made when windows still rattled. We work top down so nothing lands on a floor we already did. Vacuums get HEPA bags, not the open kind that puff half of it back out. If you have someone in the house with asthma, tell us on day one and we'll pay extra attention to bedrooms and soft surfaces.
Condos and high-rises, handled quietly
Plenty of our Dallas clients live in towers rather than houses. That means a service elevator, a loading dock with a time window, and a front desk that wants a name on a list. Give us the building's rules once and we'll follow them. We bring our own supplies up in a single trip, keep the hallway clear, and don't leave a cart parked outside your door. Smaller square footage doesn't mean a lighter clean — glass, balcony doors and stainless show every mark up there, so that's where we slow down.
Pollen gets in, and it stays in
Come spring the oak and elm let go, and by winter it's cedar. You can shut every window in Preston Hollow and it still finds the sills, the baseboards and the rug by the back door. We wipe sills and tracks rather than blow dust around, damp-dust blinds instead of feather-dusting them, and vacuum the entry runners properly because that's where most of it lands. If anyone at home gets hit hard by cedar fever, ask us to do bedding changes and bedroom floors first, before we touch the rest of the house.

Dallas questions we hear a lot
Can you work with my high-rise's service elevator and front desk?
Yes. Tell us the building and we'll sort the rest — booking the service elevator, getting our cleaner on the approved list, and keeping to the dock window. Most downtown and Uptown buildings want a certificate of insurance on file too. We're insured and bonded, so ask us and we'll send it over before the first visit.
My Lakewood house has the original hardwood. What do you put on it?
Very little water and nothing waxy. We vacuum first with a soft floor head, then damp-mop with a well-wrung pad and a neutral cleaner, working with the grain. No steam, no oil soaps, no build-up for the next owner to strip off. Where boards have gaps or cupping we keep the mop drier still and dry the spot behind us.
Do you cover both sides of the city, Lake Highlands as well as the M Streets?
We do. Our Dallas routes run from Lake Highlands and Lakewood across to the M Streets and Preston Hollow, and we group nearby houses on the same day so your cleaner isn't stuck on Central for an hour. If you're a little outside those pockets, call and ask — often we can make the day work anyway.
