Every Kind of Plano Home, Cleaned Its Own Way
A 1960s home near Downtown Plano does not clean like a new build off Legacy West. Older houses have grout that has seen a lot, window frames that collect damp, and hardwood that hates a soaking mop. Newer homes have more glass, more tile, and more square footage to cover. We look at what is actually in front of us and clean to that. That means the right amount of water on your floors, a gentler hand on older finishes, and real time spent on the corners a rushed crew skips.
Cedar Fever and Pollen Season
From December through February, cedar fever turns half of Collin County red-eyed and stuffy. The pollen rides in on your shoes, your coat and the dog, then settles into rugs, vents and the tops of door frames. Wiping the middle of a floor does nothing about that. We work high to low, damp-dust instead of pushing dust into the air, and take the vacuum over soft furniture as well as carpet. Plenty of Plano families tell us the sneezing eases off within a week or two of regular visits. It is not medicine. It is just less of the stuff that sets people off.

We are a small family outfit, not a rota of strangers. Wherever we can, the person who cleaned your house last month is the one who cleans it next month. She already knows the alarm code drill, which bedroom the baby naps in, and that the blue vase does not get moved. You are not re-explaining your home every visit. We are insured and bonded, so if something ever goes wrong it is handled properly, not argued about. Do you clean around Willow Bend and Legacy West, or just central Plano?
Both, and everywhere between. We cover Plano from Willow Bend and the streets off Preston Road across to Legacy West and down into Downtown Plano. If you are near the Arbor Hills side of town we can usually fit you into the same run as your neighbors, which often means a better time slot. Call and we will tell you honestly what days we are already in your area.
My kids get hit hard by cedar fever every winter. Can cleaning help?
It can take some of the load off. Cedar pollen gets tracked in and then lives in carpet, bedding, vents and blinds. We vacuum with a sealed machine, damp-wipe rather than flick dust about, and pay attention to bedrooms because that is where your children spend the most hours. Talk to your doctor about the sneezing. We will handle the dust that feeds it.
Do I need to be home while you clean?
Most Plano customers are not. Some leave a key or a door code, some are at work, some go and walk Arbor Hills while we get on with it. We are insured and bonded, and because you tend to get the same cleaner each visit, she is not a stranger in your house. If you would rather be there for the first clean so you can point things out, that is very welcome.
