A big house needs a route, not a rush
Cleaning 3,500 square feet in the time it takes to do 1,500 means something gets skipped, usually the parts you can't see from the doorway. We don't work that way. Babies on the floor change how we clean
A crawling baby spends the day at ground level with her hands in her mouth. So floors get more than a quick pass: vacuum with a sealed HEPA machine first, then a damp mop with a mild cleaner and a proper rinse, left barely wet so it's dry within minutes. No heavy fragrance, no sticky film, nothing that needs a window open afterwards. Baseboards, the underside of the kitchen island, the track of the back door — those get wiped too, because that's the height a toddler actually lives at.
Dogs upstairs, dander everywhere
Two labs and a carpeted game room is a combination we see a lot in Frisco. Hair works its way down between carpet fibers and into the stair treads, and dander goes airborne every time the AC kicks on. We vacuum stairs edge to edge with the hand tool instead of bumping a big machine down them, do upholstery properly, and wipe returns and vent covers so the system isn't recycling it. Our house is over 3,000 square feet. How do you work out what a clean costs?
We work it out over the phone. Square footage is only part of it — the number of bathrooms, how much of it is hard floor, whether there are pets, and how often you want us all change the time it takes. Tell us about the house when you call and you'll get a real price for that scope before we start, not a guess that doubles on the day.
We just closed on a new build in Phillips Creek Ranch and it's full of construction dust. Can you take that on?
That's a different job from a regular clean and we'll book it as one. Drywall dust sits on every ledge, inside cabinets and drawers, on top of doors and in the window tracks, and it takes two passes to get it all. Best done after the floors are finished and before your furniture arrives. Tell us your closing date and we'll work back from it.
Can you reach the light fixture in a two-story entry?
Up to a point. We work from a standard step ladder, so anything we can safely reach from it — fan blades, ledges, the top of a tall cabinet — gets done. A chandelier hanging two floors up over a staircase needs proper equipment and we won't pretend otherwise; we'd rather tell you no than have somebody fall in your house.
