High-rise living, and where the dust really comes from
In a Las Colinas condo you cannot throw open a window and air the place out, so whatever is in the unit stays in the unit and cycles through the vents. Pet dander is the big one. It goes airborne, lands on soft furniture, gets stirred up and lands again somewhere else. We vacuum upholstery and mattress tops, not only floors, and we use a sealed vacuum so fine particles do not blow straight back into the room. We wipe the returns too. That gray fringe around a ceiling vent is dander and lint.
Fobs, freight elevators and loading dock time slots
Cleaning a condo is half logistics. Buildings want vendors on the service elevator, some want a certificate of insurance on file, and a few only allow access during certain hours. Tell us your building and we will sort it out with the front desk before the first visit, rather than leaving your cleaner stranded in the lobby holding a caddy. We are insured and bonded and can send documentation straight to management. After that, parking and access stop being something you have to think about.
Valley Ranch townhomes: stairs, hard floors, small footprint
Three levels means three sets of baseboards, a staircase that shows every footprint, and a garage entry that drags grit up from the driveway. Small homes get dirty faster than people expect, because there is nowhere for anything to spread out to. We start at the top and work down so nothing has to be done twice. Stair edges, the banister, the landing corners a vacuum head will not reach. Hard floors get vacuumed before they get mopped, which sounds obvious and gets skipped constantly.
Babies on the floor, dogs on the couch
If you have a baby at the crawling and tasting stage, the floor is basically a plate. We use products that are safe to leave behind, we rinse where rinsing matters, and we keep fragrance low so nobody walks in to a headache. The same goes for pets. Nothing in our caddy will hurt a dog that licks its paws after crossing a freshly cleaned kitchen. Tell us who has asthma or allergies in the household and we will change what we bring.

I am very pleased with the deep cleaning provided. A remodel left a lot of dust in the house and everything needed to be wiped down before we could move in. Irving questions we hear a lot
We live in a Las Colinas high-rise. Can you deal with our building's access rules?
Yes. Give us the building name and your management contact and we will register as a vendor, hand over our insurance certificate, and book the service elevator where that is required. Most towers here have a routine for it already. We would rather spend twenty minutes on paperwork once than have your cleaner stuck at the desk on day one.
Our condo has two cats and no yard. Does anything actually help with the hair?
Vacuuming what usually gets skipped helps most: sofa cushions and underneath them, the sides of the mattress, curtain hems and the vent covers. In a sealed unit the hair just keeps recirculating, so the trick is removing it rather than moving it around. Honestly, every two weeks does more good than a deep clean twice a year.
Do you work outside Las Colinas and Valley Ranch, in the older parts of Irving?
We do. A good share of our Irving work is in the established single-family neighborhoods, where houses have carpet, original bathrooms and far more square footage than a condo.
