Dust out here is a different animal
Suburban dust is mostly skin and fabric. Parker dust is field dust — soil off the pasture, grit off the drive, pollen off everything that flowers for a mile in each direction. It arrives heavier, it arrives constantly, and it settles on surfaces nobody would bother with in a townhouse: window ledges, sills, blinds, fan blades, the tops of tall furniture. We dust damp so it leaves the house instead of changing rooms, we do blinds and sills properly rather than flicking at them, and after a dry windy week we expect to find more and allow the time for it.
Glass, hard water and those big windows
The view is the whole point of a house out here, and hard water does its best to ruin it. You get chalky spotting on the outside of the glass from sprinkler overspray, film on the inside from dust and cooking, and the same white scale building up in showers and on taps. Scale wants the right acidic product and a bit of dwell time, not a scouring pad that scratches glass permanently. Interior glass, shower doors and fixtures are part of a regular visit, and we can add more when you need it.
Boots, dogs and the back door
Every acreage house has one door that takes the punishment. Mudroom, back hall, utility off the garage — boots come off there, dogs come through there, and half the property arrives with them. Mud and dander end up in the same few feet of floor. We give that area real attention: the floor washed rather than skimmed, the bench and boot tray wiped, the door and frame cleaned, mats vacuumed on both sides. If there are working dogs and barn clothes in the house, tell us, and we will plan the visit around it.
Pollen, filters and keeping the air decent
Cedar fever in winter and tree pollen in spring both hit harder where there is open land around you. Cleaning will not stop any of it coming in, but it does decide how much of it stays. Damp dusting, a sealed vacuum and fresh bedding all help, particularly for anybody with asthma. We will also mention it when a return vent looks furry — changing filters is not our job, but noticing them is. And if a baby is crawling those floors, say so and we will use the mildest products we carry.

Do you actually come out to the acreage properties, or only into the towns?
We come to Parker. Dublin Estates, Hidden Creek and the places at the end of long drives — we schedule them together so the trip makes sense and your day stays predictable. If you are down a private road, just tell us where to park and which door to use. There has not been a drive yet that we could not manage.
With this much dust, how often should we have the house cleaned?
Most Parker homes we look after go every two weeks, which keeps dust from ever building a proper layer. Larger houses with dogs, horses or a road right out front sometimes prefer weekly for the main rooms and a fuller clean once a month. We would rather start sensible and adjust after a few visits than sell you a schedule you do not need.
We are on well water and the scale is awful. Can you get it off the shower glass?
Usually a good deal of it. Fresh scale comes away with the right product and time to work. Older scale that has etched into the glass is mineral damage rather than dirt, and no cleaner reverses that — we will get it as clear as it will go and be honest about where the limit is. A squeegee after showers stops new scale setting.
