What a Deep Clean Actually Covers
A deep clean is slower and more deliberate than a standard visit on purpose. We're not just going over the same surfaces harder — we're opening things a normal clean skips entirely. Expect two to four hours longer in the house than a recurring visit, depending on size and how long it's been since the last real deep clean.
- Kitchen: inside the oven, inside the microwave, fridge on request, cupboard fronts and handles, the greasy strip above the hob, behind and under what we can safely move
- Bathrooms: shower grout and tile scrubbed by hand, glass and sealant descaled, mould and mildew properly treated — not just wiped
- Every room: baseboards, door frames, light fittings, ceiling fan blades, vents and switch plates — the places dust actually lives
- Windows: sills and tracks, where damp and black mildew collect, cleaned out rather than around
- Floors: vacuumed and mopped last, after everything else, so nothing gets tracked back onto them
What It Doesn't Include
We'd rather tell you upfront than surprise you on-site. A deep clean is not carpet shampooing, not exterior window washing, and not wall-to-wall paint-ready prep — those are specialist jobs with their own equipment, and we'll say so honestly rather than do them badly. If your house has areas needing that kind of work, we'll tell you on that call so you can plan for it separately.
Who Actually Needs One
Most people book a deep clean at a specific turning point: before a new baby comes home, moving into a house someone else lived in, after months of the windows staying shut over summer, or simply because it's been a year and the house needs to start from zero again. It's also the right first visit if you're starting a recurring schedule — cleaning a house that's already right is a completely different job from resetting one that's fallen behind, and starting recurring service on top of a proper deep clean is usually the cheapest way to keep a home right all year.

Recurring cleaning
Weekly, every other week or monthly, once the first Deep Clean has the house properly reset. Same cleaner wherever we can manage it, so nobody has to re-explain the house.
Deep cleaning
Baseboards, window tracks, vents, inside the oven and fridge. Every first visit is one of these, and existing customers can book one any time the house needs a proper reset.
Move in / move out
Empty-house cleans for the end of a lease or the start of a new one, done to the standard a deposit inspection expects.

How is a deep clean different from a regular cleaning visit?
A regular visit maintains a house that's already in good shape — counters, floors, bathrooms, dusting. A deep clean resets a house that's fallen behind, or has never been properly cleaned by us before: inside appliances, baseboards, window tracks, grout and mildew treatment. It takes considerably longer because we're opening things a regular visit doesn't touch.
Do I need a deep clean before starting recurring service?
There's no choice to make here — every first visit with us is a full Deep Clean, whether you're moving straight to recurring service or just want it once. We don't offer a one-time regular clean, because a house we've never touched needs the full reset first. Once that's done, recurring visits maintain it at roughly half the rate, instead of chasing months of buildup.
Do you clean inside the oven and refrigerator?
Yes, inside the oven on every deep clean, and the fridge on request. Both are hand-cleaned, not just wiped down.
How long does a deep clean take?
Plan on two to four hours longer than a standard visit, depending on the size of the home and how long it's been since a real deep clean. We'll give you a realistic window on the phone before we book.
How much does a deep clean cost?
